Selenium is a toxic material that is chemically similar to sulfur and tellurium. There are many applications for this element today, such as some steels alloys and selenium rectifiers. Selenium is one of the essential elements for human health as well as one of the enormous biocatalysts and components of enzymes necessary to improve immune function and anti-cancer effects. Selenium and silver nanoparticles are substances that have been reported to have antimicrobial, antifungal, and antiparasitic properties.
